To create a campus with such intricate and meaningful design, J.J. Albanese was called on to do the site concrete work. The crew provided an extremely detailed site concrete package, including all architectural finishes; the planter and site walls were constructed with shotcrete, drastically improving the finishes and the project schedule.

The Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life, opened in 2009, is a cultural and residential campus with a community center and senior independent living units. The 8.5-acre campus serves as an exciting communal hub for the region’s growing Jewish population and has helped revitalize the South Palo Alto area. LEED Silver-certified, the design of the campus reflects Israeli architecture and regional flora and Judaic culture and history, creating an urban village with many symbolic elements. In addition to the creative and welcoming atmosphere, the campus also features a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, a performing arts center, venues for entertainment and education, music and art studios, a library, wellness and business centers, a beauty salon, a fireside lounge and bar, and numerous dining venues. Additionally, there are 193 residential units for senior citizens, including independent living, assisted living and memory care units.
