Advice to Future Women in Construction
· Don’t feel intimidated. Your success is determined by your attitude and how much of a go-getter you are.
· Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Ask and learn.
· Participate in mentorship programs to help you learn and grow in construction.
· Be a sponge! Everyone here is willing to share and help you.
· Be open to new ways of doing things.
· Apply what you learn to different projects and situations.
· Be up for the challenge. You get out of it what you put into it.



It’s great to see more support and career opportunities being created for women in the construction industry. After reading inspiring stories like this, I often relax with bitlife which is a life simulation game where career choices can shape an entire future.
I really like seeing companies encourage more women to explore careers in construction because mentorship and support can make a huge difference in building confidence. The advice about asking questions, staying open to learning, and taking on challenges feels valuable for any career path. I also enjoy communities around games like SoFlo Wheelie Life, where patience, practice, and learning from others are a big part of improving over time.
My younger brother showed me eggy car yesterday and now our whole family is competing for high scores. Simple concept, but really fun execution.
A friend recommended Drive Mad during a break at work, and it turned into a small competition between us. We kept comparing which stages caused the most crashes, and honestly that made the experience even more entertaining.
In the middle of a Block Blast game, I realized I was picturing empty spaces as shapes of their own. That shift helped me find better placements.
