278 University Ave
Client: South Bay Construction
Scope: Demolition
JJA Advantage: JJA recently completed the technical demolition of 278 University Ave in Palo Alto, Ca. The structure was located on a busy corner in downtown Palo Alto. The building footprint was 6,000 SF and approximately 35 feet high with an 8 foot basement. The building was built of unreinforced concrete, brick, and wood. The adjacent building sat only 6 inches from an exterior wall to be demolished. Pedestrian walkways lined the building on three sides, and traffic filled streets lined the building on two sides. JJA demolished the entire structure within its original footprint, completing the demolition flawlessly.

Simplot Demolition

Scope: Demo two concrete silos that have a 25' diameter and approximately 45' tall along with miscellaneous concrete and metal structures.
