To aid in the construction of the Tully Road Bridge modification, J.J. Albanese’s concrete pumping division pumped more than 50,000 cubic yards of concrete.

The U.S. 101 corridor is a major commute route from southern Santa Clara County and San Benito County to Silicon Valley, and before the project began, there were no alternative routes that could meet the current travel demand. In addition to serving as a commute route, it also sees heavy recreational and agricultural use. In order to improve the commute and traffic efficiency through the corridor, the original Tully Road overcrossing needed to be replaced, he interchange modified to a partial cloverleaf and an additional lane added on southbound U.S. 101.
